Frankie & Steve’s Classic Dearborn Inn Wedding

Frankie & Steve had an amazing wedding day! Their ceremony was at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Royal Oak. Frankie’s father played guitar and sang during the ceremony, and her siblings placed a wedding lasso, a Mexican tradition involving a double rosary, around the couple during their vows. Father Steve Wertanen, a good family friend, married them, making it even more special and personal. The reception at the historic Dearborn Inn was both elegant and so much fun! An incredible strolling Mariachi band played during their cocktail hour, with family members joining in and singing along. Is anyone in Frankie’s family not incredibly talented and musically inclined?! Her cousin’s band played incredible Tejano music into the wee hours, and kept everyone on the dance floor. Their reception was so much fun that a groom from another wedding crashed it! Neither Frankie nor Steve stopped smiling the entire evening, and Steve encouraged all the guests to keep clinking their glasses. So happy, so in love, this couple could not have had a more beautiful and festive day! Congratulations!!
