Danielle & Vik

Danielle and Vik’s wedding was a colorful marriage of cultures, a unique blend of east and west. The celebration lasted for two days! Friday night was a festive Hindu celebration with traditional dress, the mehndi ritual and lots and lots of dancing! Vik’s family’s Hindu traditions played such a wonderful role on their wedding day, from the gorgeous beaded saris that the bridesmaids wore to the intricate henna mehndi on Danielle’s hands and feet.The necklace that Vik placed around her neck during the ceremony was rich in tradition, the mangala sutra- as meaningful as their wedding rings. The wedding was at the Troy Marriott, and the the ballroom looked amazing with floral decor designed by Twigs and Branches Floral. What struck us most, above all the beautiful colors and decor was how in love and made for each other Danielle and Vik are. Like the lyrics to the first song they danced to – Not Fire Not Ice, by Ben Harper. It was such a meaningful and joyful celebration- thank you for letting us be a part of it!
