Tracy and Riva | Modern Wedding Photography

Sarah and Chris had an amazing fall wedding day! It was a little brisk, but sunny and bright, with the fall colors at their peak! Their ceremony was at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton, and the reception was at the historic and lovely Dearborn Inn. Sarah’s details went so well with the venue, all vintage-inspired- very elegant, romantic, and classic. They rode away from their wedding in a beautiful 1949 Packard Hugo from Motor City Vintage Rentals, and the nicest, most helpful driver John. Sarah and her girls were so classy in their matching antique mink wraps. Kevin Doak of First Dance Entertainment was awesome, and kept the crowd happy on the dance floor all night. It was a lovely wedding, and Sarah and Chris are such a great couple- we are so happy we got to capture their day with them!

Lindsey and James had an amazing wedding day at the Royal Park Hotel. Never mind that it was a slightly chilly and rainy October day- it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day! Their ceremony was full of light and emotion, in the Royal Park Hotel conservatory. The flowers were beautiful, by Floral Designs by Lori. They had great details, inspired by Fall in Michigan (our favorite season) as well as a Celtic influence and even their clan tartan. Lindsey’s mon Janine gave her a sixpence to wear inside her shoe for good luck too. The band is our new favorite- Huckleberry Groove. They were not your typical wedding band, and they had the guests on the dance floor all night! It was so much fun, and we are so happy that Lindsey and James let us share their awesome day with them!
