Hannah & Jim are such a happy and playful couple- you might remember them from their sweet Depot Town engagement session. They had such a fun, modern, and sleek wedding in Kalamazoo at Loft 310 They both got ready at Kara’s Kottages- girls upstairs and boys downstairs- managing to not see each other the whole time! Hannah carried a vintage handbag passed down in her family, and Jim wore his great-grandfather’s cufflinks. They had a first look at a nearby park, and privately read personal vows to each other. Their rooftop ceremony at Loft 310 overlooked downtown Kalamazoo, and their guests all wore their super-cool commemorative sunglasses while watching them wed. All of the details were amazing, and truly a family affair. Hannah and their friends and family made most of the creative decor, Wedel’s Nursery made the bouquets, and Bert’s Bakery made the awesome cake and cupcakes.
It’s always such a pleasure to work with any of our families more than once- we photographed Hannah’s sister Becky and her husband Bret’s wedding at Weller’s a few short years ago! We feel like part of the family, and it was an especially cool flashback to watch Becky give Hannah the vintage sixpence necklace she received from her three years ago- passing it along and creating a new family heirloom and tradition. Becky and Brett are parents-to-be, so an extra congrats goes out to them and the whole family!
