Lindsey & Joey came home for a holiday visit with family so we took that opportunity to do their engagement session. We braved the December cold while walking through the University of Michigan’s campus. We look forward to their upcoming wedding at Earhart Manor this spring.
Ashley and Scotty are adorable together, not to mention Rudy, their sweet little Boston terrier! We had a great time doing their engagement photos in Detroit’s historic Palmer Park. Their 2013 fall wedding at the Pine Knob Mansion is going to be so creative and fun- we can’t wait!
We first met Stephanie Gray Chang a few years ago when she was planning her wedding- she was the bride that got away! Lucky for us, she remembered us and our work when she started her new Detroit wedding blog Love in the D. The blog is all about Detroit-centric and socially conscious weddings. We are thrilled that some of our awesome couples that got married in Detroit have been featured on her blog this week, as well as a chat with Riva about choosing to live in the great city of Detroit. Stephanie is a contributing blogger on HuffPost Detroit, and our work is featured there too! We wish her the best on her new venture and we are thrilled to be part of it!!
We spent a beautiful fall day with Melissa & Ty, hanging out at Ann Arbor’s popular farmers market and taking their engagement photos. Ty actually proposed to Melissa in downtown Ann Arbor, after an adventurous scavenger hunt of their important places! Aren’t they such a cute couple? Their dog Stella is adorable, and also made for a fun photo companion! We are so excited for their wedding at Earhart Manor at Concordia University this summer!
Sheri and Aaron are active members of the Detroit Zoo, and love the animals, events, and exhibits there- especially the polar bears! We had a great time doing their engagement photos at the Zoo on a beautiful fall day, at the peak of autumn color. Aren’t they so cute together? We are so excited for their 2013 wedding at the Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac!!
